Hard pass on a false flag sniper killing of AmeriMaidan protesters followed by a civil war. Anyone who wants the Ukrainization of the US is either clueless or hates this country.
This reminded me of one of the few passages that can fully drive me to tears just by remembering it exists: the epilogue of *Black Lamb and Grey Falcon*, where Rebecca West describes the March Coup in Yugoslavia. Army officers demanding the right to fight with the Greeks, communists in the streets, protests by civil servants and Orthodox priests - every segment of society rising up, after the fall of Poland and France and all the rest, to say that they would rather fight an entire continent and be ground to dust than collaborate. "Bolje grob nego rob, Bolje rat nego pakt."
"Sooner or later society tires of making a mosaïc of these evil fragments; and even if the rule of hatred lasts some centuries it occupies no place in real time, it is a hiatus in reality, and not the vastest material thefts, not world-wide raids on mines and granaries, can give it substance. The Yugoslavs, who have often been constrained to sin by history, are nevertheless well aware of the difference between good and evil. They know that a state which recognizes the obligation of justice and mercy, that is to say a state which forbids its citizens to indulge in the grosser forms of hatred and gives them the opportunity to live according to love, has more chance to survive in the world than a state based on the scurrying processes of murder and rapine; and they know too that if a state based on love bows to the will of a state based on hatred without making the uttermost resistance it passes into the category of the other in the real world. Therefore they chose that Yugoslavia should be destroyed rather than submit to Germany and be secure, and made that choice for love of life, and not love of death."
A big reason people want to avoid calling it war is that once you admit that, you're acknowledging there's no returning to the status quo ante. The previous order is scuttled and now you need to win for the new order to not be terrible. It’s become clear there is no return to the previous status quo.
Thank you 🙏🙏🙏 You have succinctly stated EXACTLY what I have been thinking, feeling and stating . I have been banned from TikTok 7 times (I created multiple accounts) for “alluding” to this. 🙏🙏🙏💪💪💪💪
Every one, everywhere needs to understand this. Excellent piece.
We must not suffer the copperheads to lead.
Like Sparticus "I am the State!". Not them.
Great article. You write "new stations" instead of "news stations" and I'm not sure your rugby analogy works.
FUCK
When you're ready to kick off AmeriMaidan, I'll be there.

Well said and "I have a bad feeling about this" and "I am too old for this shit" but it seems to be developing a force that no one can control.

I feel like Dying Gaul and Kneeling Gaul would go well with this piece as well.
