The Latin ‘Eumenides’ should always be the default, so as to invite the quip “Euripides trousers, Eumenides trousers!”

Didn't he have to build a Temple to Athena before the Furies became the Graces? Good post.

Nah, they have the trial in the temple of Athena where Orestes was seeking shelter, then Athena strikes a deal with them after the trial, where they go and dwell in the caves beneath the temple as the Eumenides.
